Souk Al Marfa at Deira Islands, the new waterfront souk and marketplace by Nakheel, is partnering up with the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Royal Thai Consulate, Thai
Trade Center and Tourism Authority of Thailand to host the city’s largest free-to-enter Thai Festival from 16 to 18 December.
Embark on an authentic Thai experience this weekend at Souk Al
Marfa’s waterfront daily from 2 pm to 10 pm and indulge in a plethora of Thai-inspired activities.
With a jam-packed agenda of activations, the festival is the perfect
opportunity for visitors to experience the Thai culture in a completely
new way, and savour authentic Thai food and products as well as
experience cultural performances, cooking demonstrations and carving
workshops. The festival will also include Muay Thai boxing exhibition
matches and an all-encompassing Thai Flea Market featuring an array of products across multiple categories.

More than 800 shops currently operate at Souk Al Marfa with
another 300 set to open in the next month. Souk Al Marfa’s operating
hours are 10 am to 10 pm Sunday to Wednesday, 2 pm to 12 midnight
on Friday and 10 am to 12 midnight Thursday and Saturday.
